Hello world! This is my first blog post.
Starting the blog with an ESP8266 based IoT Smart Switch hardware design, which was designed as a submission for Advanced PCB Design and Fabrication Workshop, organized by the IEEE student branches of University of Peradeniya and Open University of Sri Lanka. The workshop was held virtually on June 2021.
This was designed to switch 110-230 VAC with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connected IoT interface, thus can be made compatible with modern home automation systems. The rendering was done using Blender software (blender.org), and the design was created using Altium Designer.
This attempt was my very first individual project-oriented electronic design, first amateur rendering and first blog post as well. I would appreciate any of your thoughts and feedback.
